  • Your new BMO credit card (card number, expiry date, CVV)

Open bmo.com/activate

Go to https://www.bmo.com/activate in your web browser. Look for the “Let’s activate your credit card” heading.

Confirm you bank online with BMO

Select Yes when the page asks if you currently bank online with BMO. If you select No, you will be directed to register for BMO online banking first.

Sign in to BMO online banking

Click Next and sign in with your BMO online banking credentials on the secure login page.

Enter your card details

Provide your credit card number, expiry date, and CVV code when prompted.

Complete activation

Click Activate Now and wait for the success confirmation. Your BMO credit card is now active.
